A single vehicle crashed off the road in Oliver Sunday morning near Highway 97 and Road 16, resulting in the death of the driver.
Oliver fire chief Bob Graham said two trucks from the fire department responded to the incident, and found one man dead after using the jaws of life to extricate him.
"I don't think speed or alcohol was involved," Graham said.
An ambulance on scene called the fire department to help extricate the man. The incident occurred early in the morning.
