A Castanet reader has reported a collision between a dump truck and tractor trailer on Summerland hill Thursday morning.
At approximately 8:41 a.m., the dump truck hit the side of the semi on Highway 97 heading south out of Summerland, according to witness Skylar Noe-Vack.
The dump truck ended up crashing through a barrier and coming to a stop in the southbound ditch on its side.
Debris was scattered on the highway, and southbound traffic was reduced to single-lane.
According to the witness, there were no serious injuries. The Summerland Fire Department attended to the cleanup, including a fuel spill in the ditch.
