STP, Seether to play SOEC

Stone Temple Pilots and Seether are kicking off a co-headline tour in Penticton October 23 at the South Okanagan Events Centre, with support from Default and Age of Days.

Stone Temple Pilots have sold more than 50 million albums since their 1992 debut, Core, which dominated radio waves with hits like “Sex Type Thing,” “Wicked Garden,” and the Grammy-Award winning, “Plush.”

STP founding members Dean DeLeo, Robert DeLeo, Eric Kretz, along with new lead vocalist, Jeff Gutt, released their seventh studio album, Stone Temple Pilots, in March.

Co-headliners Seether have also released their seventh album last year, Poison The Parish.

Supporting act Default is reuniting for the tour after splitting in 2013. They are fronted by the award-winning Dallas Smith.

Canadian rockers Age of Days, best known for their singles “Afflicted” and “Bombs Away” also join the tour for the first 7 shows.

General public on-sale begins Friday Sept 7th at 10:00 a.m. for $42.50, $62.50 and $72.50
