The 71st annual Miss Penticton was crowned at this weekend's pageant ceremonies, along with her princesses and several other award winners.
Brooklyn Adams earned the top crown at the ceremony Friday night, sponsored by Rona heading into it. She is entering her senior year at Penticton Secondary in September, and called her experience with the pageant "a great way to really get to know your community, learn proper etiquette, and help make yourself into an even more poised woman."
Her two princesses, Nyah Meller and Sarah Wood, were sponsored by the Penticton Lions Club and the Penticton Eagles 4281, respectively. They are also both Princess Margaret students.
The newly crowned royalty kicked off their reign by appearing in the Peach Fest parade on Saturday.
