Thousands flocked to downtown Penticton on Saturday for the Peters Bros Grand Parade — the largest parade in B.C.'s Interior.

Parade participants came from across B.C. as well as Alberta, Washington, Oregon and Idaho, according to Don Kendall, president of Peachfest.

One of the leaders of the parade was Summerland's Justin Kripps, who won a gold medal in bobsled during the PyeongChang Winter Olympics earlier this year.

The 71st Peach Festival is now in its fourth day. Entertainment on Saturday afternoon includes the Canadian Tire Mega Motocross and several music acts, headlined by country star George Canyon. Local 16-year-old country artist Beamer Wigley will also be performing on the main stage.
