Fire crews in Oliver responding to a fire on a truck carrying hay, Friday afternoon.
Fire crews in Oliver doused a fire on the back of a truck that was carrying hay, Friday afternoon.
The blaze happened at about 2 p.m. on McKinney Road near Manuel's Flats, east of the town centre.
Flames were reportedly contained to just the hay on the back of the track and did not spread to nearby brush. It's not known if the black truck sustained any damage.
No one was injured in the incident, and the cause of the fire is unclear.
Oliver Fire Department spokesperson Rob Graham was not immediately available to comment.
