The Summerland-Princeton Road has reopened to traffic following a washout Sunday night.
The Ministry of Transportation says the road was restored Tuesday evening.
Two females were taken to hospital with serious injuries Sunday night after they drove into the chasm cut through the road by the washout before the area was secured.
The washout occurred near Mountain View Road, just west of Faulder, and took out about 20 feet of gravel road.
