Heavy rain weeks ago appears to have washed out a cattle guard on the north end of Naramata Road.
A Castanet reader submitted photos of the section of road, cordoned off with a few orange bags of sand.
“I drive that road every day, so I know to avoid it,” the reader said. “But I don’t know about anyone else that isn’t up there all the time.”
The edge of the road is now precariously close to a several-foot drop off.
Castanet News submitted the photos to the B.C. Ministry of Transportation on Wednesday afternoon. A response is expected Friday.
Castanet will update as more information becomes available.
