Three scheduled Air Canada flights between Penticton Regional Airport and Vancouver International Airport have been cancelled for Friday.
The 8:50 a.m. flight out of Vancouver was cancelled, as was the 10:05 a.m. flight out of Penticton. Another flight from Vancouver is also cancelled for 11 p.m.
No spokesperson was available to comment from Air Canada, but it's likely the cancellations are due to snow falling in the Vancouver area.
As of noon on Friday, half-a-dozen flights between Kelowna and Vancouver were also cancelled or delayed.
Environment Canada is predicting as much as 20 centimetres of snow could fall in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley by early Saturday.
