Jones wins 6th Scotties

The 2018 Scotties Tournament of Hearts championship draw was a nail biter, but curling veteran Jennifer Jones and her Manitoba team emerged victorious.

Jones beat out Kerri Einarson, the tournament's wild card round entry, to claim her sixth Scotties championship title.

The score was 8-6, and it was close in every one of the ten rounds.

"It was a great game for TV, a little stressful playing in it," Jones said. 

The stands were packed with a nearly sold-out crowd to watch Jones battle Einarson, whose team is from Winnipeg.
