A truck stolen last week from Lang Vineyards in Naramata has been recovered by police.
RCMP confirmed they had "a pretty good idea" who was responsible for the theft.
"The reality is, with most of these higher-end thefts, it's a matter of collecting enough evidence to bring that before the court, and catching them," said Penticton RCMP Supt. Ted de Jager. "They're not just driving up to the police station saying 'It's me.'"
De Jager said thefts of commercial-sized pickups like Lang Vineyards' Ram 1500 and Ford F-series models have been up recently.
He urged owners of these types of vehicles to consider investing in an electronic immobilizer system, which prevents the car from starting without the proper key.
