Assessments shoot skyward

A Trout Creek home is once again the most expensive residential property in the South Okanagan, according to the annual BC Assessment top 100 list released today.

While waterfront homes in Kelowna dominate the rankings, 903 Dent St. in Summerland was valued at $5.16 million as of July 1, 2017 — placing it at 53 in the Thompson Okanagan.

Another Trout Creek home — 5608 Ash Ave. valued at $4.54 million — was the only other South Okanagan home to make the list, barely, in 100th place.

The most valuable residential property in the whole region is 4358 Hobson Rd., Kelowna at just over $10 million.

Also released with 2018 property assessments this week; overall market movement.
