Two people have been sent to hospital following a two-car fender bender Monday afternoon.
The accident between two SUV's occurred just before 3 pm on Wade Avenue by Main Street in Penticton. A silver grey SUV bumped fenders with a dark SUV while waiting at a light.
The driver of the silver-grey SUV says she was distracted by a large moth that flew in her window and started flapping around her legs. She says it caused her foot to accidentally slip off the brake pedal and cause her vehicle to roll forward into the back of the vehicle in front of her.
The two drivers and passenger of the dark SUV, one male, one female, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A portion of Wade Avenue was closed to traffic for about half an hour.
