Castanet's food drive today

Don't forget — Castanet staff and the Penticton Vees will be loading the Vees' team bus with donations for the local food bank on Sunday, at the Penticton IGA.

The first-ever 'Penticton Cares,' organized by Castanet, will go on from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be a barbecue by donation and donors will have a chance to win a box suite for a Vees game at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

The public is asked to donate food items that are non-perishable.

Vees players will be present to help bag grocery donations and will be signing autographs.

Pre-made bags of groceries will also be available to purchase and be donated to the food bank.
