There is one less drug dealer on Penticon's streets.
RCMP arrested two males on Wednesday afternoon.
The males, aged 26 and 40, were arrested in a hotel parking lot on Lakeshore Drive after a vehicle search. The 26 year old was driving the vehicle when it was pulled over. RCMP found cocaine and a 9mm semi-automatic handgun.
The driver now faces charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited handgun and possession of a firearm while prohibited.
The passenger is not expected to face charges, however he was subject to outstanding arrest warrants. Both are being held in custody until a court appearance on Thursday.
