Keremeos Woman Killed

A 34 year old Keremeos area woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle early this morning on Highway 3 near Keremeos.

RCMP say the woman was in the eastbound lane when she was hit by an eastbound Nissan Sentra.

No one in the vehicle were injured.

The driver was a 34 year old male from Alberta.

Alcohol is not a factor for the driver of the vehicle.

The accident is still under investigation.

The name of the deceased has not been released.
