OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN BYLAW AND ZONING BYLAW AMENDMENT APPLICATION -ELECTORAL AREA ‘D’
Bylaw No. 1708.02, 2006 Electoral Area ‘D’ East Skaha, Vaseux Official Community Plan (OCP) Amendment Bylaw and Bylaw No. 1801.03, 2006 Electoral Area ‘D’ East Skaha, Vaseux Zoning Amendment Bylaw were read a first and second time and will proceed to public hearing.
The land use designation will change in the OCP from Small Holdings (SH) to Tourist Commercial (CT) and in the Zoning Bylaw from Small Holdings 1 to Recreational Vehicle Park Site Specific and proposes a bare land strata of 103 recreational vehicle sites on a 4.1ha site south of Okanagan Falls.
The intention is to consolidate the subject parcels prior to the adoption of the bylaws.
DEVELOPMENT PERMIT APPLICATION INCLUDING VARIANCE, ELECTORAL AREA ‘C’
The Board approved development permit #C-06-11003.000 for Burrowing Owl Vineyards in accordance with the conditions outlined in the February 27, 2006 Environmental Impact Assessment report. The Board also approved the variance to Electoral Area ‘C’ Oliver Rural Zoning Bylaw No. 2123, 2002 Conservation Area Section 16.3.2 a) ii) Minimum Setbacks from 7.5m to 1.0m. This will allow development of a new water licensed pump house as close to the eastern line of the property as possible to minimize the environmental effect.
ZONING AND OCP BYLAW AMENDMENT APPLICATION
The Board gave third reading to Bylaw No. 2122.05, 2006 Electoral Area ‘C’ Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw, and Bylaw No. 2123.06, 2006 Electoral Area ‘D’ Zoning Amendment Bylaw.
This will result in the OCP being redesignated from Agricultural to Low Density Residential (LR) while the Zoning is redesignated from AG1 to Residential Single Family One (RS1) and allows two 0.75ha lots to be consolidated creating two 0.202ha RS1 approximately 1km south of the Town of Oliver.
OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN (OCP) BYLAW AND ZONING BYLAW AMENDMENT APPLICATION
The Board adopted Bylaw No. 2260.06, 2006 Electoral Area ‘A’ Osoyoos Rural Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw, and Bylaw No. 2261.07, 2006 Electoral Area ‘A’ Osoyoos Rural Zoning Amendment Bylaw.
This application amends the Osoyoos Rural OCP and Zoning land use designations from Resource Area (RA) to Large Holdings (LH) site specific and proposes to subdivide the 20.0ha subject property into three lots.
ZONING BYLAW AMENDMENT APPLICATION ELECTORAL AREA ‘D’
The Board adopted Bylaw No. 1801.07, 2006 Electoral Area ‘D’ East Skaha, Vaseux Zoning Amendment Bylaw. This will amend the zoning of the subject property from Single Dwelling Residential One (RS1) to Two Dwelling Residential Two Zone (RS2) to allow the existing single family dwelling unit with a secondary suite RS2 designation.
