Miss Bikini And Mr. Muscles

It'll be bikinis and muscles as far as the eye can see this weekend in Penticton.

The 24th annual Mr. Muscles and Miss Bikini contest will take place this Sunday, August 6 at Skaha Lake Road. The event, organized by the Penticton Jaycees, will take place at 3504 Skaha Lake Road starting at noon.

The first event of the day will be a wet T-shirt contest at 12:30, followed by performances by local bands Alimony Mountain and Retroactive.

First place winners will receive $500, second place receives $300 and third place receives $200. The male contestants will be judged by a panel of women who will be looking at muscular size, definition and presentation. The women will be judged by a panel of men and will be scored on facial features, physique and the bikini they are wearing.

There is a $5 entry fee to watch the contest, part of which the Jaycees use to help sponsor a variety of local initiatives such as the Canadian Cancer Society and the Penticton Chamber of Commerce Jr. Chamber Kids Day Camp.
