Hockey Hall Of Fame

As of Friday, five new names will be added to the B.C. Hockey Hall of Fame (BCHHF).

On July 28th, some of the biggest names in Canadian hockey will attend a gala at the Penticton Lakeside Resort to welcome the newest names of the BCHHF.

The inductees are New York Rangers coach Tom Renney, former New Westminster Bruins coach Ernie 'Punch' McLean, long-time NHL'er Doug Bodger, the late Vancouver Canucks trainer Larry Ashley will all be honoured at the dinner. Inducted into the new media category is Bernie Pascall.

The emcees for the evening will be Vancouver Canucks play-by-play man Jim Robson and Dallas Stars colour commentator Daryl Reaugh.

A silent auction will give fans a chance to bid on hockey memorabilia like signed jerseys and ice skates worn by Brett Hull. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Canucks for Kids Foundation. For ticket information contact the Penticton Vees office.
