Summerland Blooms

The winners of the First Annual Summerland Garden Contest are announced.

The residential division floral display winners are:

First place went to Tom and Heather Northcote.

The prize for the best xeriscape garden went to Lou and Helen Poncelet.

The best garden with personality award went to Bruce and Val Crawford.

In the business division floral displays the winners are:

First place went to Shopper's Drug Mart.

Best xeriscape garden went to the Summerland Chamber of Economic Development and Tourism.

The best garden with personality went to the Summerland Arts Centre and Gallery.

Summerland has joined with Kelowna to enter the national Communities in Bloom competition.
