3 charged following beating

Three young men are facing charges of aggravated assault after allegedly jumping a man following a fight outside a downtown Penticton nightclub on Saturday night.

Police were called to the Mule at 218 Martin St. at about 3:15 a.m. Sunday for a fight outside the club. Officers separated both parties and sent them on their way.

“A short time later on Westminster, a male was located bleeding from injuries to his face,” Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth said. “Witnesses said that the male was jumped by three other males.”

The suspects were located nearby and arrested. One of them was breaching his probation order and had an outstanding warrant for arrest. The victim was 28 years old.

Damien Keddie, 20, Thomas Kruger-Allen, 20, and Taish Desnomie, 19, have all been charged with aggravated assault. Keddie was also detained on the outstanding warrant.
