A band that bills itself as a hippy rock family band is slated to play in Penticton next week.
Daring Greatly will be performing at Rock the Sun at Gyro Park on Friday, July 28.
Daring Greatly is an independent, five-piece band originally from Calgary.
They’ve spent the last two years touring western Canada, as well as in the U.S. perfecting their three-part blood harmony, original riffs and beats.
They recorded their debut album Cornerstones in 2016, recently opened for Bon Jovi at the Las Vegas T-Mobile Arena and will be opening for the Doobie Brothers for the Rock The Cure Festival in San Diego on Aug. 20, further continuing their perpetual One Town At A Time World Tour through 2018.

The Rock the Sun concert series, held by the Downtown Penticton Association, features different bands this summer.
Performances are from 7 to 9 p.m. at Gyro Park.
