A structure, believed to be an unoccupied home in an orchard, burned in the Oliver area Monday night.
Rob Graham, spokesman for the Oliver Fire Department, said the initial call for a structure fire at Road 5 and Sumac Street came in about 9:40 p.m.
As firefighters got closer to the scene, they could see flames visible at the location.
However, they were able to knock down the blaze within a half hour.
"There was significant fire damage, but we got it out quickly, so it wasn't a total loss," said Graham.
The cause of the fire is undetermined at this point.
