UPDATE: 9:35 a.m.
According to the RCMP, it was an unoccupied outbuilding that burned on an Oliver property about 5:38 a.m., Thursday.
The fire department and RCMP attended.
Cpl. Christina Tarasoff said the fire was caused by electrical issues and not thought to be suspicious.
A fire lit up the night early Thursday morning in the South Okanagan.
The Oliver Fire Department responded to the structure fire near Tucelnuit Drive and Bulrush Road at about 5:40 a.m.
