
Police are investigating after shots were fired at several commercial trucks parked on Peachland's Trepanier Road earlier this month.
Police received a report on Oct. 17 at 5:30 a.m. that several commercial trucks had been damaged by gunfire while parked in the 4900 block of Trepanier Road in Peachland.
Five company vehicles, including one tractor-truck and four dump trucks, were damaged. Police are examining surveillance footage but so far have not identified the suspects.
"These types of crimes are of great concern to the RCMP and our community. The RCMP is actively investigating this incident to identify those responsible and understand their motivation," said RCMP spokesperson Const. Mike Della-Paolera.
RCMP are asking anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity Monday evening until 5:30 a.m. Tuesday to contact West Kelowna RCMP at (250) 768-2880, referencing file number 2023-62084.
