Border woe with John Shorthouse ringtone

I had a similar experience in 2011 - it was just after the Canucks beat Chicago in the Playoffs and I had changed my ringtone to John Shorthouse announcing the winning goal by Burrows, saying "they've slayed the dragon".

There was a van full of us from work going down for a conference in the States.  We were "randomly" selected to go inside.  When we went in I had seen the mat on the floor that said United States and had the big Eagle and thought it looked really nice, so I pulled out my blackberry and took a photo.

Next thing I knew there was an officer who came to the counter and told me to bring my phone over, the officer told me to show the photos that I had taken (they thought I was taking photo's of them behind the counter), of course my phone froze and I had the little hour glass on the screen, but when it finally did work I showed the two photos of the mat that I took.

They weren't convinced and took the phone and gave it to another woman who plugged it into her computer.  While she was looking, my wife, who I had texted that we were just about to cross the border, texted or phoned back and the ringtone of John Shorthouse announcing the Burrows goal sounded really loud.  It was hard not to find it funny, but we didn't laugh inside :)

In the end, they gave me the phone with the pictures of the mat on it and we were on our way, warned not to take photos at the border anymore.
