Rich Should Foot Heritage Bill

I am all for keeping buildings in good shape and looking good but I am not for costing the owner or taxpayer to do it. How would they like me to tell them I don't like their yard so fix it up to my standards?

If there are groups in Kelowna who demand that buildings be saved from demolition, let them foot the bill.

I feel it is outrageous that groups are allowed to force their standards onto people who just want to progress.

If I was confronted with this, I would make sure the building was not worth saving. To hell with the rich who want to save their heritage.
