Challenge accepted

Just wanted to say; Earth Hour challenge accepted, Walter Gray.

Now I'd like him to do what I do - take transit everywhere.  For one month I challenge Walter Gray to take transit everywhere he has to go.  To work, to the bank, to buy groceries, to do absolutely everything.

I challenge this because I live in the Mission and thanks to "New and Improved" transit services, it now takes me over an hour to get from downtown to the Minstrel Cafe (I live across the street).

I take transit every single day and I have multiple sclerosis, and I have a lot of mobility issues so taking the bus isn't always easy.  Now with these new changes I am probably going to have to move.

I want the Mayor and the rest of the city council to see just how "easy" it is to take transit in this city.  I want them to visit their friends houses for dinner parties, be at work on time everyday and go grocery shopping all taking public transit.

That's being eco-friendly, and with their new plan it should be no problem at all.

Let's challenge city hall to do more than turn off their lights for an hour.  Let's get them to do something that is "easy" and actually makes a difference and is actually sustainable.
