How many surveys does it take to acknowledge that Kelowna has a problem with the amount of homeless people? I have lost count of the number of surveys that have been conducted, and WHY do we have to pay Americans to do it? I am sure there are enough qualified people in our own province that could have done the same thing and come to the same conclusion. Haven’t we spent enough money deciding that there is a problem?
Isn’t it about time for some definitive action? So many people are so willing to donate their money to help others in need in foreign counties, why not use some of that money to help those that are in need right here in our own backyard. I know there are no easy solutions to this problem but I think we should stop throwing away money on surveys and start doing something to help these homeless people.
