Development to blame for coyote problem

RE: Are kids next?

All the development that has happened in the hills has forced the poor animals to fend for themselves in an urban setting. There never used to be this many in town, and it is not strictly because of rabbits. I do agree that the city should have acted sooner to remedy the rabbit situation, but not in a murderous fashion.

It should never be an option for us to kill these creatures of nature because we have invaded their space which they have occupied for hundreds of years.

Who are we to take control of nature?

The same goes for shooting the bear that attacks a person in a town or campsite. You all have to remember that we are in THEIR home, not the other way around!  I would be pretty mad too if I woke up to find someone sleeping in my living room, or cutting down my bedroom wall.

Please stop and think as you drive on your pavement, and shop at your malls before you open your mouth about “taking care” of a problem like coyotes.
