I hate to see anyone get themselves into trouble like the girls in the fire in Rutland and I am sure that they have been reamed out by many and made to feel bad by others.
So what I would like to say is that I do feel bad for these people but from a person who was evacuated 2 times from the summer fires.
I decided to move into town and into the Hochlaga Apartments from which I was also evacuated from in Mar 04 for a fire that was not my fault. And I am still trying to get my life back into order and it is a struggle each day, and still will not be back into my apartment until Jan 15 which by the way is 10 months from the fire.
I have had no help from anyone except to give me my necessities that I need each day. No insurance is not a perk that is expensive, it is much less than the packs of cigarettes that people use to soothe the pain. (Oh by the way I also quit smoking 2 1/2 yrs ago and doing well.)
So as I am sure that these girls feel bad, Mom should have been there and should have had insurance, it is only a small amount compared to what you may lose.
So I feel bad for you but let this be a lesson well learnt!!
