RE:Video: Hit and run vehicle was a Ford
Almost every time a pedestrian gets hit by a motor vehicle, further investigation shows that the pedestrian was walking with their back to approaching vehicles.
When will we start to teach people to always walk facing traffic?
Not to excuse the drivers, but let's face it, half of them are distracted by their phones, texts, GPS, cigarettes, coffee, cd's, passengers, etc.
It's time we started teaching common sense in schools -- this isn't a case of who's in the right, it's a case of survival.
I won't even get into the fact that so many people are out walking at night dressed in black clothing.
