Credit Clark for LNG
Re. LNG in B.C.
Let’s give credit where credit is due
It seems everyday there is another media report or story regarding the development of a significant LNG export industry in B.C.
It will create tens of thousands of jobs and billions in tax revenues to the B.C. and federal governments. Also, First Nation involvement, participation and benefits are very real.
It is incredibly frustrating now to watch certain politicians in media reports. They had very little to do with the establishment and the development of this industry as they now pose for photos or give their scripted quotes.
Let’s give credit where it is due, to the former B.C. Liberal government and specifically former Premier Christy Clark. She saw the opportunity, travelled the world to promote it and focussed her government on delivering it.
She is long gone from office but hers is a legacy to be proud of and I thank her.
