Informing Drug Carriers

Your “Duct Tape Dope Bust” story posted on December 15, 2004 was quit an interesting piece of news. One would think that a story such as this, prior to going out for all to read, would be reviewed to ensure that it was informative and give credit to the ones who deserve it. Instead, you informed other drug carriers on not what to do when smuggling drugs across the US border. Castanet had an opportunity to write about the positive security measure taking at our Kelowna airport, but instead gave drug smugglers a very informative smuggling tip that will definitely be considered on their next run. I suggest that the next time you have a story such as this you use a story angle that our airport security program is catching lawbreaker’s.
