RE:Crosswalks are for pedestrians
Speaking from a great deal of experience as a frustrated pedestrian: for some reason when the drivers in Kelowna aren't taught clearly or fail to educate themselves, that it doesn't matter if the "crosswalk" is marked with lines, if someone is crossing at a corner where a road meets another one it's considered a crosswalk and pedestrians have the right of way to cross.
Basically, unless the intersection is controlled by lights, if you see someone waiting to cross at a corner you must stop your vehicle for them!
