Kelowna loses out to PG in games bid



I'm glad the games went to Prince George and not us.

Did no one learn from the Winter Olympics?

Let Prince George have the winter games and the bill that will go along with it.

Sports are not everything and not for everyone, and I for one would rather see the government get out of putting on these events and let the private sector take care of it.

If there is a profit to be made someone in the private sector will bid and hold the event.

The government should simply look after our infrastructure and stay out of the way of everything else.

They should stop wasting our tax dollars on frivolous events and logos that do nothing but waste valuable resources.
