We've just learned that Prince George will be hosting the Canada Winter Games. Good for them. I don't know what our council is thinking but everyone in the province knows that Kelowna is not a forward thinking city.
We have old ways and old thoughts about what a city should be. Progress is not here and I think that is why we don't get any of the great events here anymore.
