Before anyone forms a firm opinion on whether the long gun registry should or should not be abolished please go to www.scraptheregistry.ca and read what information you are receiving from the media is myth and what is fiction.

It seems to me that the media's reporting wants to give people the impression that most officials are for the registry when in fact the majority are not.

Why are we not hearing from both sides of this issue in proper balance? Read the real cost of this registry and not the skewed statistics that don't report the hidden costs. That money would be far better spent to fight crime.
