What has happened to driver courtesy?
My husband and I frequently go camping/fishing pulling a 29’ travel trailer. Having been a truck driver, if we are pulling up a long hill or on a bumpy forestry road, my husband will pull over to allow drivers behind us to pass.
It is amazing to me, how many people no longer show their appreciation for this courtesy. We don’t have to do this – we could keep you trapped behind us the entire time, or worse, make it so that you have to pass and put yourself and other drivers at risk.
Is it too much to ask for you to honk your horn or wave after we have extended this courtesy?
