You would think that after the fires last summer in Glenrosa and then with the fire this past week just minutes away from Gormans Mill, people would use their brains and not throw cigarette butts out of their cars.
Recently while walking my dog at 7:30 a.m. along Glenrosa Road, a car drove past me and a dry field and threw a butt out their window. I had to step on it and put it out, had I not seen it, it would have blown right into that field.
Hopefully you are reading this and realize what a dumb thing you did. Every time you throw one out, think of how many people you could potentially be "throwing" families out of their homes.
Please smokers use your brains and use an ash tray, I would not like to lose my home.
