RE:Apartment fire in Rutland: Update
I am so sorry to hear of the Rutland Apt. Fire , but I am glad to hear that there will be a venue for clothes, etc.. to be donated for the victims. The Salvation Army has a heart of GOLD! Being a fire victim myself a few years back, I can appreciate the kindness of strangers. Just a note to those donating...there are many things that people use on a daily basis that others don't think about which they will need.
Examples: toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoos, soap, brushes and combs, deodorant, diapers, makeup, shaving cream and razors, monthly feminine products, nail clippers etc.
I was also wondering if since there were so many animals included in this disaster if there would be a group that would provide or a venue to hold donations for animal food, leashes, collars etc? They are going to need providing for too.
Wishing the victims of the Fire a positive future...stay strong, it will overwhelming for awhile, but with time, encouragement, patience and backbone, you will flourish once again.
