Open letter to the BC. government
We are tired in Penticton of the homeless camps along our river channel contaminating the water and soil, and with garbage everywhere and stolen property in plain sight.
If you cannot come up with a solution, I have one, How about a class action suit against the government for not protecting our water, (not) keeping our streets safe and allowing thefts from our homes and businesses?
We pay tax for (the government) to do these things and now it may be time to address the province in a court of law for not keeping it’s “contract” and for neglect of duty.
I believe there is a movement ready to move forward with this idea. MLAs get to office and what happens? They neglect their duty to taxpayers and the people of B.C. who elect them.
I want to recall the government for neglect of duty. It should do its job and keep us safe , protect our water and land from contamination and collect and return stolen property to the rightful owners, as welll as protect businesspeople who pay taxes from being assaulted and theft from their stores.
Get it done because we are tired of waiting.
