Don't block highways

Blockades of highways for disputes should never happen.

The disputing party should inform the B.C. Ministry of Transportation of the reasons of the dispute. Hopefully, the ministry will have a standard operational procedure to arrange a meeting and arbitration with the groups in a very timely matter. That meeting should be compulsory.

The offending group could set information stands at the entrance to the highway but not block the highway.

That method would be the most efficient way of solving disputes.

Why are we so far behind in our thinking?
