I voted in early voting Monday, April 21.
I and many others waited in the chilly outdoors for more than an hour for our turn. While waiting, we saw many who happened to be from a different postal code arrive and be zipped right through to the front to another line.
We were told there were so many with our postal area and with only one box in which to place our ballots, it was inevitable to have a long wait.
I would like to offer my opinion that a simple remedy for this inefficiency would be to host the voting in larger venue, allow people to wait indoors and quickly assign people to their respective ballot boxes through a centralized station.
Have several ballot boxes for each area code. That was done for us at the last federal election with the voting station at Sunridge Community Church. We were in and out of there in a matter of minutes.
