My wife and I drive into Kelowna from West Kelowna frequently. We are seniors with kids and grandkids who live in Kelowna.
Over the past few years, we have noticed the deterioration of the road markings, especially on Highway 97. As you come off the William R. Bennett Bridge heading to the Westside, there are virtually no lines on the road heading up Bridge Hill.
When will the Ministry of Transportation and Transit learn to use paint that stays on the road and is especially visible at night?
It uses the excuse that the paint it uses is environmentally safe but it wears out on the road very quickly and becomes a hazard for driving with three lanes going up the hill from the bridge.
It would be nice to know how the lanes are separated.
