Not Ashamed

Well, it seems I have ignited some people. Not as ignited as the protests around the world against what the Bush Regime is doing.

Meanwhile, here in Canada, we keep pulling the blankets over our heads. It was said that if Canada were helping in the 'war' effort, our young men wouldn't be hanging around the street corners causing trouble. Hah! If it weren't for our governments, fed and provincial, dragging their feet on social issues if it weren't for Canadians being like docile sheep and not pushing for social and policing reform we wouldn't have kids hanging out on street corners.

If our gov had teeth in law making to stiffen penalties and make laws stick, there wouldn't be so much crap on the streets in the form of drugs. I could go on and on. I suggest that the writers of two letters who have plainly told me to go to heck, should be "shaking their own heads and wake up.

In addition to this, I could venture to say that Bush is to blame for our men being on the streets with his many "free trade" tariffs on lumber that have caused many business to close down or lay off people.

Shall I go on? Oh, by the way, I feel no shame for my views on these matters. Perhaps it is you that is shamed by your underlying guilt at being Bush buddies.
