What if there was no U.S.?

I’ve been thinking more about (U.S President Donald) Trump’s assertions Canada would fail without the U.S.

But consider this:

If there was no U.S.:

• Our southern border would be the Gulf of Mexico.

• The surplus of guns in Canada could be eliminated.

• Our daily news coverage would be about somewhere else.

• Rapper Drake would not be harassed for not being American enough.

• We would buy more Egyptian cotton.

• Ukraine could be confident in the support it receives from the West.

• Western Canadians would not have to stop there on the way to the Caribbean.

• Canada would have full ownership and control of the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence Seaway.

• Canada could join the BRICS (group of countries) without being invaded by the U.S. Army. (We wouldn’t but we could.)

• Alaska would be part of Canada and Denali would (still) be Denali.

• Canada would not be dragged down by its corrupt leadership.

• Whoever is in charge would have put Trump in jail by now.

• Canada and Mexico would be just fine.
