Thanks Dollar Store 'angel'
On Feb. 5, I was shopping at the Glenmore Dollar Store (in Kelowna) and I took my purchases to the counter to pay for them.
I was fumbling to find my wallet, when a young couple came up to the cashier. I told them to go ahead of me. Instead, the gentleman of the couple said he would pay for my purchases.
I started ro protest but he insisted and at that point, the lady of the couple said to just let him, he does that often.
The long and the short of it was that he did pay for my purchases. I thanked him profusely. Unfortunately, I was speechless and neglected to get his name.
To one kind soul, many heartfelt thanks and may you live a long, blessed, healthy, happy life. To me you are an angel and have restored my faith in mankind.
Sherry Smith, Kelowna
