I wouldn't want to take away anything from the Christmas decorations donated by the management of the Orchard Park Shopping Centre, however, I believe the thanks should actually be given to the merchants of the mall.
ALL expenses for any shopping centre are paid for by the merchants and NOT the owners of the shopping centre. All shopping centres have triple net leases with their tenants which means each tenant is charged an operating expense based on their square footage. This charge is in addition to their rental rate and is adjusted annually to reflect actual expenditures made by the centres through out the year. This includes Christmas decorations. The new decorations that you will see in the mall will be paid for by the merchants.
