I must agree with the person writing about the absence of Christmas or anything else even morally based in our schools.
With the ever increasing media crap and commercials saying buy, buy, buy, give, give, take, take, it is no wonder that our children are growing up morally bankrupt!
What is wrong with a holiday that promotes love and giving, not to mention the birth of our Savior? What is wrong in believing in something that makes me a better person? Such that I transfer this to my children and they become better people, more able to contribute to society.
When I was going to school, it also was filled with CHRISTMAS concerts and CHRISTMAS cheer. We had huge CHRISTMAS concerts with music, plays ,skits, you name it.
We even managed to work in Santa Clause. It left wonderful memories, vivid even after 20 years!
That is something that I want my kids to experience and enjoy.
